COVID-19 UPDATE

Coronavirus Pandemic has spread around the globe.

 

The US government has declared a National Emergency related to the global COVID-19 outbreak.

 

Governor Doug Ducey is working with Center for Disease Control (CDC) to test for the COVID-19.

 

  • An Executive Orders that requires restaurants in Arizona counties with confirmed COVID-19 cases to provide dine-out options only, and that all bars in those counties close. This also applies to movie theaters and gyms, KROC Center Salvation Army.
  • Elementary and High School Districts have closed until April 10 possible the entire semester.
  • Community Colleges and ASU, NAU, UOA are closing and offering online.

 

39 confirmed cases in Arizona.

 

 

We here at SAC want to be proactive. We are taking extra measures to insure the Saints of God and our visitors are safe. That is our top priority. Your well being is very important to us.

 

 

Shiloh Apostolic Church will not be closing, we are Doing Church Differently we still want to offer healing, and give hope and be a light on the hill in the community.

 

 

Recommendations

  1. Stay home. We may have what we are calling the Ministry Strike Team attend church possibly in 4 weeks. We just don’t know.

 

  1. Let’s increase cleaning at home.

 

  1. Avoid touching your face

 

  1. Sneeze/Cough into your elbow or use Kleenex

 

  1. Thoroughly wash your hands (20 seconds or more)

 

  1. The leadership will be having daily conference call to stay abreast of daily changes. Leadership that meeting will be every Monday at 7:00p.m.

 

  1. Wednesday is our national prayer and fast day. Our Presiding Bishop Lambert W. Gates is asking all of us to join him in prayer at 6:00 a.m. EST that is 3:00 a.m. AZ time.

 

  1. SAC will be using social media, Facebook, etc.

 

  1. Starting this Sunday, March 22, 2020 we will be on Facebook Live at 10:30 a.m. so join us.

  1. Senior Saints, those with Pre-Existing conditions, High Risk, Respiratory issues, compromised Immune Systems and those with medical challenges. I ask that you please check on them. See what they might need. Grocery, water, tissue. Early bird catches the worm. Shop early.

 

  1. Member connection is important that is why the Ministry Strike Team will be calling the saints daily.

 

  1. The Pastors will even be having small groups bible studies weekly by conference calls. Each member at SAC (Shiloh) will be assigned one of the four pastors. D/Elder Nancy Jones, Pastor James W. Jones, Pastor Byron N. Evans, and Pastor Betty Ann Melvin.

 

  1. Arizona State now has a 24hr. helpline for seniors who are unable to access groceries 602.264.4357.
